We’ll be opening the first one-person show here that weekend of floral paintings by Peggie Blizard, our newest gallery artist from CT. Peggie was one of the most successful contributors to our recent “Still Lifes” exhibition who already has a large gallery following.
And for fun we’re exploring the idea of extending her show that weekend only to our sidewalk in front with a few paintings hung on a picket fence (harking back to 1950s outdoor art shows) as well as have a table and chairs inside with crayons and paper for kids to make their own flower drawings or make copies of Peggie’s paintings.
